because:
1. they help the teachers pick out stuff
2. they cannot get out therefore it is a safe place for an excursion
3. Seriously I cannot think of any more reasons…. why?? WHY??
I believe it was for a learning trail. Where the kids solve math-eng-science problems in a real-life setting. They call it authentic learning beyond the classroom 🙂
